ROK Cup Superfinal 2023 – Mini ROK category
Official Communication | 12 Jun 2023
The ROK Cup national Championships are now in the middle of the season and Rokkers from all over the world are challenging each other, race after race, to qualify to the most important event, the ROK Cup Superfinal, that will be held form the 11th to the 14th of October at the South Garda Karting track in Lonato (BS).
As usual, the ROK Cup Superfinal is the most important ROK race; it is a race by invitation with closed number and selected places in each category, reserved to qualified drivers, winners of prizes and awards assigned by the Promoter.
All the ROK categories will be on track: from the Mini ROK for the very young drivers, to the Shifter ROK category with gearbox, going from the Junior ROK, for drivers from 11 years old, to the Senior ROK; and again Expert ROK, Expert ROK Plus and Super ROK.
Each category will have limited places and once all the places reserved to the qualified drivers are assigned, the Promoter, according to his own criteria and well-defined requirements, may also admit wild card drivers up to the maximum number of available places. The possession of the admission requirements therefore does not guarantee the participation in the event, which is subject to the maximum number of admitted drivers in each category.
As announced, great news of this twenty-first edition of the ROK Cup Superfinal will be the Mini ROK category, limited to a maximum number of 72 drivers, who will race with engines distributed by drawing lots by the Promoter.
This format has been very successful in the last years for the Mini ROK category in the ROK Cup Italia Championship. For this reason, it has been confirmed for the event race of the season: the 72 admitted drivers will use engines distributed by drawing lots by the Promoter, starting from the official free practices.
Considering the maximum number of drivers admitted in this category (72), only for the Mini ROK category, the wild card drivers with Italian license in possession of the admission requirements will be admitted according to the order of arrival of the registration and the position in the final ranking of the ROK Cup Italia, up to the maximum number of available places.
